Canadian health authority notes that sildenafil has been linked to serious side effects, particularly in people taking nitrate drugs or with heart problems, though no domestic reports of associated adverse reactions have been received. Agency reminds consumers that products cleared for sale in Canada will bear a Drug Identification Number, Natural Product Number or Homeopathic Medicine Number on the label.
