La Peau Couture, a new line of skin- and hair-care offerings positioned as 100% organic, has hired a "design collective" company called UNIT to help the firm develop a brand identity, the Lafayette, Calif.-based company announces March 3. La Peau Couture formulas, retailing for between $59 and $499, are slated to roll out to spas and salons as well as on brand's Web site, LaPeauCouture.com, this spring, the company says. The goal of UNIT, which comprises designers, strategists, Web developers and copywriters, is to deliver a brand message to consumers that "beauty products can embrace 100% organic ingredients while maintaining a classic beauty," firms note.
