A new ad from Canada’s Environmental Defence suggests that most cosmetics contain “cancer-causing chemicals,” and asks consumers to get involved in Health Canada’s review of its cosmetics regulations. The Canadian Cosmetics, Toiletry and Fragrance Association dismisses the campaign as unsubstantiated and not based on sound science.
